Action replay

Well, I'm back. How did it go? That's for me to know and you to find out. Since blogging capability was almost non-existent on the mountain (at least not without the payment of large-ish sums in USD for brief access to t'internet) and I kept a daily diary of what happened, I plan to play out how it happened day-by-day over the next two weeks to give you a sense of what it was like, and maintain a modicum of suspense.

However, paraphrasing the words of the late, and exceedingly great, Douglas Adams:
Stress and nervous tension are now serious social problems in all parts of the galaxy and it is in order that this situation should not be in any way exacerbated that the following facts will now be revealed in advance:
Jason did, in fact, return largely intact from Magrathea Aconcagua. The various threats posed by wind, cold and altitude merely resulted in some headaches. No fingers or toes were lost, and all members of the climbing party made back alive from summit day. In order that some sense of mystery should still be preserved no revelation will yet be made concerning which, if any, members of the party actually made it to the summit. This fact may safely be made the subject of suspense since it is of no significance whatsoever.
Got that? Here we go.
